The reality is that most successful products are built collaboratively by teams that consistently use innovative techniques to discover ideas that resonate with their customers’ needs and fit the market

This workshop takes concepts from Design Thinking, Agile and Lean Startup to teach entire Product teams - Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, QA and more - to engage deeply with their customers and the business.

With this type of "radical collaboration" across disciplines, teams learn to quickly close the product cycle by identifying customers/business needs, building and releasing them, and confirming customer expectations have been met or exceeded.

Day One

  • Understanding your business: Competitive Analysis, Market Research and Analytics

  • Defining what problem needs to be solved

  • Learning how to interview users for empathy and understanding

  • Focusing on the right users using Personas

  • Prioritizing and fostering alignment with Stakeholders and Leadership

Day Two

  • Divergent thinking and Brainstorming

  • Converging on a solution with your team

  • Storyboarding your solution in preparation for Prototyping

  • Building Prototypes for user testing

  • Validating Prototypes using Customer Scenarios

  • Using customer feedback to learn and iterate

The Product Discovery Workshop fundamentally changed how I approach product development. I thought I knew how to discover customer requirements, it turns out I’d been leading customers towards what I thought best to build.
